The ’2026 Weverse Con Festival’ held at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul, drew enthusiastic responses from the audience with performances by various artists.

This year’s ’Weverse Con Festival’ took place on the 6th at 88 Lawn Square and KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Arena). Hosted by HYBE, the festival began as an end-of-year concert featuring HYBE artists in 2021 and is now in its fourth edition. It has established itself as a popular music festival with diverse artists participating, with 30 teams performing over two days this year.

The theme for this year was ’NEWTOPIA,’ centered on an urban paradise. Outdoor performances were held at 88 Lawn Square, while indoor shows took place at KSPO DOME. Attendees enjoyed various food and beverages at the food zone while watching the performances, and experience booths, event booths, and rest areas created a comfortable atmosphere.

On the festival’s signature stage, the Tribute Stage, Rain, celebrating his 27th debut anniversary, took center stage. Rain performed hit songs such as ″Bad Guy,″ ″How to Avoid the Sun,″ ″Gang,″ ″It’s Raining,″ and ″Hip Song,″ receiving applause for his performance, which included water streams pouring from above the stage. Rain expressed, ″I am truly happy to perform together with the juniors.″

Cover performances by junior artists followed. QWER performed Ssakssuri’s ″Back Here at the Beach,″ PLAVE presented ″Instead of Goodbye,″ and Tomorrow X Together (TXT) Subin covered ″How to Avoid the Sun″ and ″Bad Guy.″ Aileat Iroha performed ″Rainism″ with Rain, enhancing the song’s atmosphere with a neat hairstyle and suit fit.

This year’s festival faced safety concerns due to protests by citizens opposing the shortage of ballots in the June 3 local elections, which continued at the Handball Stadium (Ticketlink Live Arena). On-site, the paths of fans and protesters were orderly separated, so the performances were unaffected, and the 88 Lawn Square shows proceeded smoothly.

At the 88 Lawn Square stage, Aileat, Nahop, Hwang Minhyun, Ha Hyunsang, Lucy, Apink, and Enhypen performed. Especially when Enhypen appeared, the crowd’s cheers were loud. They performed for about an hour with songs like ″ParadoXXX Invasion,″ ″No Doubt,″ ″Karma,″ and ″Future Perfect.″ Aileat opened the stage with ″It’s Me,″ sharing, ″This is my third year performing at the ’Weverse Con Festival,’ but it’s my first time performing at the park (outdoor). I feel your energy, and it’s great to enjoy music surrounded by nature.″

At KSPO DOME, Ampersand One, QWER, 82Major, Wendy, PLAVE, and Boy Next Door performed. On the 7th, Cutie Street, AOEN, Yoon Sanha, TOUCHED, Kwon Jin Ah, Andble, Lee Changsub, Zico, P1Harmony, Cortis, TWS, &TEAM, LE SSERAFIM, Kim Jaejoong, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) Subin, and Highlight are scheduled to appear.
