The organizing committee for "2019 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS" released a video of TWICE and Kang Daniel's acceptance speech on the TMA's official website on March 25.

TWICE and Kang Daniel expressed the joy of winning the award, winning the Artist of the Year award at an online awards ceremony that was replaced in the aftermath of Corona 19, and the individual categories of Fan and Star Choice and Fan & Star Most Valuable Player, respectively.

"It's meaningful that all nine of us can receive it together," TWICE said in the video. "Congratulations ONCE."

TWICE released songs such as "Feel Special" and "FANCY" last year and performed brisk activities. In particular, the eighth mini album "Feel Special" hit 400,000 copies of the album, breaking a new record for initial sales of girl group albums. This is the all-time record for a single album released by TWICE.

TWICE said, "We won a very big award. "I won the Artist of the Year award at The Fact Music Awards," she said. "It's more meaningful to have all nine of us receive it together." she added, "We thank everyone who supports us, and congratulations to ONCE. Please support TWICE a lot in the future."

"All of this is the result of the 'Danity' people," Kang said, giving the honor to fans.

Kang Daniel made a successful solo debut last year. The title track "What Are You Up To" from its debut album "Color on Me" landed at the top of the chart on major music sites, while its digital single "TOUCHIN" also topped the music show "The Show."

Kang said, "We've won the award in the individual category of the Fan and Star Choice and Fan and Star Most Valuable Player of the 2019 The Fact Music Awards." He was delighted that he wanted to return the honor to "Danity," who won two awards.

"I want to thank all the staff members of The Fact Music Awards who worked so hard for the awards," he said. "I feel like I've told you this every time I've received these awards, but I think it's all the results that 'Danity' has made me," he shared the joy of winning the award with fans.

The "The Fact Music Awards," which had been temporarily postponed in the aftermath of Corona 19, will replace it with online awards and meet fans with new looks in the second half. The results of the 2019 award ceremony, which will be replaced online, will be released on the official website at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

The review of the "2019 The Fact Music Awards" was based on the tally from January to December 2019, and the judges included Park Soon-kyu, editor-in-chief of The Fact, producer Park Geun-tae, producer Cho Young-soo and lyricist Kim Eana.

The four categories - Grand Prize, Listener, Choice, Artist of the Year and Next Leader - were decided by adding 40 percent of the music and album scores and 60 percent of the judges' scores.

The special award is based on 100 percent of the judges' score, 100 percent of the votes for the Popularity Award and the Fan and Star Choice Award, and the most votes for the fans and stars (the singer and the individual) from May 2019 to February 2020, and the most votes for the songs and albums were based on Gaon Chart data.

The "2019 The Fact Music Awards" were scheduled to take place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Gocheok, Seoul, on Feb. 29, but a temporary postponement was decided for the prevention of the spread of Corona 19 and the safety and health of the audience and artists. The organizing committee plans to hold a new award ceremony in the second half of this year based on the score tally from January 2020.
